Taxiway Charlie Extension Work Project Work to finish the extension of Taxiway Charlie is scheduled to begin July 26, 2004. To get major work done first and beat the onset of winter, the City plans on laying in the bituminous shoulders on both sides of runway 12 at B-2 first. This will result in the threshold for Rwy 12 being displaced by 2,448 ft - leaving 5,820 ft available for use. Entry onto Rwy 12 will be at B-3. Access to Rwy 17R/35L, using Twy Bravo will not be available. If you want to use Rwy 17R/35L, you'll have to take the 'scenic' route, down past the new airport terminal building on Twy Golf. If you don't want to do that and can't use the 5,820 ft on Rwy 12, then plan on using the East runway (17L/35R) for flying ops. Thanks for your patience, understanding and support. |
